Bush Life Pty Ltd was established in 1990 with the main focus as a sub-contracted organisation developing large scale computer systems.  Prior to incorporation it had been travelling in the guise of Microcomputing Services and Fased Systems since 1984.

The name Bush Life was chosen as it represented the idea that the systems we develop should be easy to use, reliable, and accurate, which would allow the system administrators to "go bush" without cause for concern knowing full well that the computer system they left behind would continue operation without fault or failure of software components.
